Board of Supervisory Directors
The Supervisory Board is non-executive and has the formal task to oversee the
operations of Nedstat's executive directors.
Evert H. Smid, Chairman
Mr. Smid has served as
a member of Nedstat's Supervisory Board since June 2005. He is the Founder and
Managing Director of Eehaes Participaties, a strategic consultancy and
investment management company. From 1987 to 1996 Mr. Smid was a director of
Atlas Investment Group, a leading international venture capital organisation
which he co-founded. Previously Mr. Smid worked as a Senior Investment Manager
at NMB-Participatie and originally started his career working for NMB Postbank,
a subsidiary of the ING Group. Mr. Smid is a member of the Supervisory Board of
Advanced Laser Separation International (ALSI), AMIS Holding and Album Printer
Beheer.
Mr Smid obtained his degree in Business Economics at the University of
Groningen.
Sake Bosch
Mr Bosch served as a member of Nedstat's
Supervisory Board since November 2004. He is Managing Partner of Prime
Technology Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in European companies
in the information and communication technology sectors, that he founded in
1999. From 1994 until 1999 he was senior principal at Holland Venture,
responsible for managing investments in technology companies. Mr Bosch is a
member of the Supervisory Boards of 3mensio, Medical Imaging, MarketXS, Siennax
International, Tridion and Watermark.
Mr Bosch obtained his Msc degree in Business Administration from the Open
University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in management science and industrial
engineering from the Technical College (HTS) in Alkmaar, the Netherlands.
Bernard Doorenbos
Mr Doorenbos served as a member of
Nedstat's Supervisory Board since May 2001. From 1997 until recent, he served as
CEO for the Dutch companies Axxicon, Neways and Vilenzo respectively. Currently
mr Doorenbos is CEO of JéWé. From 1984 until 1997, he fulfilled various
management functions for Philips and Thomson CSF. Mr Doorenbos is a member of
the Supervisory Boards of Axxicon and Nedcon.
Mr Doorenbos has been Officer at the Royal Netherlands Navy. He also obtained
his Msc in Electronics from the Technical University of Delft and his degree in
Business Economics form the University of Amsterdam (UVA).
