The WAA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the understanding of web analytics through education, advocacy, standards, research and technology. Founded by web analytics industry leaders, the mission of the association is to unite and foster the interests of practinioners, vendors, consultants and educators who use, sell, install, implement, consult, teach or train in the field of web analytics.

ABC Electronic is the industry owned, tri-partite, not-for-profit organisation that works with and for media owners, advertisers and media buyers to help them better understand and gain confidence in the data they use. Its services range from standard website activity audits to e-mail and SMS distribution audits to complex database user demographic audits.
The ABC international standards working party (IFABC, International Federation of Audit Bureau, www.ifabc.org) has developed a set of rules and definitions that are the effective worldwide standard for web audits. Definitions and rules specific the the UK and Ireland are controlled and developed by JICWEBS, the Joint Industry Committee for Web Standards.

OJD is an independent association that, amongst others, sets standards for website measurement services in France. The mission of OJD is to certify distribution information about newspapers, periodicals and other (modern media) publications to support advertisements. The results of its controls form an essential reference for advertising prices of the supported publications. Its members are publishers, website owners, advertisers and media agencies.
Nedstat has been issued a quality label by OJD for the measurement method used and the metrics produced in Sitestat. Nedstat can deliver OJD certified data to industry standards.
KIA is an independent branch organisation (Joint Industry Committee) formed by advertisers, media agencies and website owners in Sweden. In 1999 KIA was initiated by the publishers to establish a platform to regulate comparable Internet audience measurement in order to stimulate Internet advertising. In 2001 KIA issued standards and guidelines how to properly measure websites in order to provide comparable results to the advertising market.
